Jess serves as the Program and Communications Coordinator for the Centre for Missional Leadership (CML). He is also the Children and Youth Director at Olivet Baptist Church, where he is passionate about helping children, youth, and families grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
With more than 18 years of ministry experience in the Middle East, serving in both the United Arab Emirates and Oman, Jess has provided leadership in family ministry, spiritual formation, Christian education, and program development. His heart for ministry is rooted in equipping the next generation and fostering vibrant faith communities across cultures.
Having traveled to over 50 countries, Jess brings a global perspective and a deep passion for intercultural ministry. He values creating environments where people from diverse backgrounds can encounter Christ, build meaningful relationships, and participate in God’s mission in the world.
Outside of ministry, Jess is an avid runner and marathoner. He has completed ten marathons, including five World Marathon Majors – Berlin, Tokyo, Chicago, New York City, and London. The discipline, perseverance, and joy he finds in running continue to shape his approach to leadership and ministry.
Jess holds a Master of Arts in Christian Ministries from Liberty University and is committed to lifelong learning and leadership development in the church. He is married to his wife, Sheryl, who faithfully serves alongside him in ministry at Olivet Baptist Church.
